We are proud to share the Pilot Report of the TAFISA Certified Leadership Course (CLC), a revamped and redesigned program launched under the SUCCEED framework with the support of the IOC’s Olympism365 strategy. This new iteration of the CLC reflects a strategic evolution of the course originally launched in 2007 and marks a renewed commitment to strengthening global capacity for Sport for All leadership.
In 2024, the newly structured two-level course was successfully piloted in Trinidad & Tobago and Rwanda. This report captures the key outcomes, early impacts, and insights from the pilots, showcasing how the course has progressed beyond its earlier format to meet the emerging needs of the global Sport for All movement.
Through a combination of interactive modules, practical group work, and community-based project design, participants were empowered to translate global strategies into local action. Most notably, the revamped CLC goes beyond the classroom. The report shares how participants are now implementing Sport for All Community Projects, responding to real challenges in their own communities, from promoting inclusive play spaces to advancing gender equity and intergenerational activity.
The CLC pilot was delivered by a diverse pool of regional and international facilitators and reflects TAFISA’s evolving approach to sustainable learning, equity-driven programming, and impact measurement. The course is aligned with TAFISA Mission 2030, the UN SDGs, and the IOC’s Olympism365.
As we expand to new countries in 2025 including Romania, Fiji, and more, we invite stakeholders and partners to explore the pilot findings and join us in building a stronger, more inclusive Sport for All movement.
