As we move into 2026, SUCCEED reflects on a year of strengthened collaboration and measurable progress across its global capacity building ecosystem.
Throughout 2025, initiatives under the SUCCEED framework delivered structured training, supported implementation, and expanded partnerships across multiple regions – reinforcing Sport for All as a practical development tool.

Across the framework in 2025:
- 3,579 individuals were directly reached through trainings, workshops, and learning initiatives
- 120 capacity building activities were delivered across multiple regions
- 58 implementors actively contributed to programme delivery and outreach
- 5 community projects were implemented to translate learning into local action, directly engaging over 600 participants and targeting an additional 3,500 individuals through broader outreach
These figures represent the collective work of initiatives operating under shared principles of collaboration, sustainability, and measurable progress.
But numbers tell only part of the story.
Impact at Three Levels
SUCCEED’s Theory of Change is built around impact across three interconnected levels: People, Institutional, and System.
|
People Level
Participants, facilitators, youth leaders, and practitioners strengthened their competencies, confidence, and practical skills to deliver inclusive Sport for All programmes in their communities.
|
|
Institutional Level
Organisations improved governance, programme design, safeguarding practices, and cross-sector collaboration – embedding capacity building into long-term strategies rather than short-term projects.
|
|
System Level
SUCCEED-supported initiatives contributed to broader conversations on gender equity, youth engagement, safe sport, and inclusive participation. By aligning with global priorities and shared measurement approaches, SUCCEED reinforces Sport for All as a credible development pathway.

A Connected Ecosystem
What distinguishes SUCCEED is not isolated project success, but coordinated progress. By aligning diverse initiatives under shared goals and measurement principles, the framework strengthens collective impact and accelerates learning across regions.
As new projects move into implementation in 2026, SUCCEED continues to evolve – expanding partnerships, deepening collaboration, and strengthening the global capacity building ecosystem for inclusive Sport for All.
